For the most part, they were all laying around like the dead. For good reason: they go out to sea hunting for three days at a time. Three days of no sleep and no coming in to shore, swimming in the cold Southern Ocean (and they can feel the cold, apparently). When they do get to shore, they sleep in the sun. And sleep in the sun some more.Every once in a while they get up to stretch in a yogic-like pose. Only the youngsters, who are still too young to go hunting, play and swim and irritate the adults. It was so amazing to watch!
